U.S. New Lawful Permanent Residents by State of Residence in 2018 - Treemap

In 2018, among the 1.1 million new Lawful Permanent Resident in the United States, more than 200,000 (18.4 %) took up residence in California. New York (12.3 %), Florida (11.9 %), Texas (9.5 %), and New Jersey (5.0 %), were the next leading states, each hosting between 50,000 and 140,000 new LPRs.
